Booger McFarland on Florida: ‘This is personal between administration and head coach’

ESPN analyst Booger McFarland is well versed in dropping strong and intersting takes. And as he usually does, he brought some heat on Sunday morning.

Perhaps his strongest take was his insight into the Florida situation, where Jim McElwain seems to very much be on the hot seat despite winning back-to-back SEC East titles at Florida.

Rumors are swirling about McElwain’s job security, and there are already reports swirling about who could possibly replace him on both an interim and long-term level.

As of this writing, McElwain is still employed by the Gators. Florida got thumped on Saturday, losing 42-7 to Georgia. It was the first time in McElwain’s tenure that the Gators lost to Georgia.

The Gators visit Missouri next week, and will be looking to end a three-game losing streak.
