WATCH: Florida fan purposes marriage on SEC Nation

Football makes people do crazy things. SEC fans are among the most passionate in the entire country and one fan showcased that in a special way on Saturday.

A couple was watching SEC Nation live from Gainesville as Florida and LSU are set to battle on Saturday.

The camera pans the crowd, the man taps her on the shoulder, gets down on one knee and purposes marraige. Of course she said yes, he was probably pretty sure he would if he was going to do it on national television.

Who knows? Maybe it was just the presence of Tim Tebow which put love in the air. Though it’s a little odd to do it on SEC Nation, at least wait until College GameDay comes to town. Public proposals can often go awry, but we’re glad this one didn’t.
