Report: Florida running back Malik Davis out for the season
The Gators got blown out on Saturday, then received some even worse news on Sunday, as Malik Davis was reportedly lost for the season.
According to a report from Graham Hall, Davis is expected to miss the remainder of the season. Davis extied Saturday’s game with an injury and did not return. Davis also had an MRI on his knee on Sunday.

Davis leads the Gators in rushing this year, as he’s rushed for 526 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Gators have had a number of injuries at skill positions this year, and have also had running back Jordan Scarlett and wide receiver Antonio Callaway suspended for the entire season due to a credit card scandal.
The Gators have lost three in a row, and are 3-4 on the season. The Gators are on the road next week as they take on Missouri.
