Odds: Missouri is a 13-point favorite over UConn

Any way they can move this game to the SEC Alternate to the Alternate to the Alternate Channel? Because let’s be honest — watching this moribund Missouri program try to act like Alabama against weak non-conference opponents is starting to get old. We can guess what will happen: Quarterback Drew Lock will throw for a gazillion yards and 15 touchdowns, and the Tigers will put up 90 points. We saw it against Missouri State, we saw it against Idaho, we’ll see it once more Saturday. And then Mizzou will go back into SEC play and look like its old self again.

Kickoff: Saturday, 6:30 p.m., CBS Sports Network
Line: Missouri by 13
Prediction: Missouri 59, Connecticut 28
Via SEC Country’s Alex Martin Smith
Drew Lock is in the zone, so to speak, and that should continue against a UConn defense that allowed at least 38 points in four consecutive games (including 70 to Memphis) at one point this season.
The difference between Connecticut and Idaho is that the Huskies can punch back. Bryant Shirreffs just passed for 372 yards in a 20-14 win against Tulsa, and the offense has hit the 20-point mark in every game but one. Expect a thriller in Storrs. The pick: Missouri.
