Arkansas Razorbacks podcast: Good win, Hogs; now do something with it
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Welcome to SEC Country’s daily Arkansas Borderline Erotic podcast, the most-listened-to Razorbacks podcast in the country. In this episode, John Nabors reacts to Arkansas finally getting their first SEC victory against Ole Miss and what it will mean for the rest of the season.
SEC Country launched the Borderline Erotic Podcast on Aug. 29, 2016. It is named after the colorful way coach Bret Bielema described how he felt after Arkansas defeated Texas in the 2014 Texas Bowl.
Here is a rundown of some of the topics discussed in the 288th episode of the Borderline Erotic Podcast:
Arkansas finally wins, but can the Hogs do anything with it?
Nabors started the podcast by reacting to the Razorbacks’ crazy victory against Ole Miss in Oxford over the weekend. Arkansas had about as awful of a start as a team could have in the first quarter. With only 10 minutes to go in the first half, Ole Miss was up, 31-7, on the Hogs. It looked as though the Razorbacks couldn’t care less about playing a football game. But once Santos Ramirez stripped the ball away from a Rebels receiver, everything changed. The Hogs overcame the largest deficit in school history and defeated Ole Miss, 38-37, on Connor Limpert’s go-ahead field goal in the final seconds. But does this change Bielema’s future with the Razorbacks?
Nonsense: Jim McElwain is out
In the nonsensical part of the podcast, Nabors brought up the nonsensical story of Florida coach Jim McElwain being fired.
