5-star CB Anthony Cook pushes back commitment date
Anthony Cook‘s much-anticipated decision will no longer take place on Monday.
Cook, the nation’s No. 2-ranked cornerback, has pushed back his Oct. 30 commitment date, he informed SEC Country.
LSU, Ohio State and Texas remain his three finalists, but the 5-star prospect has yet to settle on one of those schools.
The 6-foot, 170-pounder from Houston Lamar (Texas) High School made official visits to all three of his finalists over the past two months, including a two-day stop in Baton Rouge on Oct. 14-15. Afterward, Cook told SEC Country that he was absolutely torn between the Tigers, Longhorns and Buckeyes.
Cook has not rescheduled his commitment date, but he is on track to graduate and enroll early at the university of his choosing. In other words, he will have to make a decision sometime between now and the early signing period in December.
